I run 185's on my stock rims for the winter. They are a BFGoodrich winter radial T/A mud and snow. I find this is an excellent winter tire and keeps my 10 year old rims looking nice

They do pull the tire in a little so it isn't as wide (at the bead) as on say a 6" rim (I believe the stock rims are 5 1/2")
Keep those RPM's high!www.lobase.homestead.com/lobase.html

185/60R14 tires are about 1/2 inch larger in diameter than the stock 175/60R14s. That means your car will sit about 1/4 inch higher, and your speedometer/odometer will be about 2 percent off (about 1 mph low for each 50 mph).

4x114.3 sure annoys me though.

I really wish I could have just swapped the entire wheel over.

I have some 185/60HR14 D60A2 tires on stock steelies. The speedo seems to match those radar/speed display though.

I will check with my GPS unit to see how off is the speedo.

I just had BFG Comp T/A HR4 tires put on in that size, previously had winter tires in the same size on. I guess I should be doing it the other way around this time of year Havn't had any problems, the car is also lowered a bit.

4x114.3 (bigger four) sure sucks. I couldn't find anything cheaper that can fit the Gt. I just don't understand why Suzuki did that. On the newer Suzuki, they change to smaller four pattern as almost every smaller FWD importer does. Usually, smaller car uses smaller four bolt pattern when the larger RWD import uses bigger four. So, it ends up with either the offset fit but the smaller four bolt pattern or the bigger four bolt pattern with deep offset. Conclusion, nothing fits Gt unless you really pay for it either buy it new or get something with univeral bolt pattern! Too bad =(
