Post subject:  Lowered Springs Redux, H&R vs. B&G

Has anyone run both the H&R and the B&G springs that can compare?

We are track prepping a '90 Swift GT. All interior, seats etc are gone but a considerable weight of steel has replaced it (cage) so weight should be somewhere around 1600lbs.

Koni Adjustable struts up front, Gabriel OEM equiv. in the rear (budgetary restrictions in our race rules+motor/trans/drive-wheels in the front = spend the money where it matters).

I know the B&G are slightly lower (1.6" drop vs. 1.4/1.3) and both appear to be progressive and that at retail the H&R are slightly more expensive (they ebay new for about the same) not sure if this means that they are any better or if they just cost more.

Any other info is greatly appreciated.

If You are using KONI perhaps You should consider using Vogtland springs?? They are designed to work with KONI's :)
