hey guys i got a 95 swift gl 1.3 sohc for the past few days the brake light has been coming up when im driving but only when i turn to the left, before was once in a while now its at any bump or any turn to the left yet noting lights up at a right turn, i looked at sensor on the cabin while at park checked if it was loose but noting it seems ok wat could be causing this???

That light on my 97 was also connected to a level switch in the master cylinder reservoir. If you have a minor leak or your pads are simply worn down, the brake fluid level in the reservoir can be low enough to begin indicating with the brake light on the dash. The fact that it is getting more frequent is also an indication that this is due to a low fluid level in the reservoir.

well my bad im in colombia south america and my swift is the 89-94 style in the us and the switch is in the e-brake handle

happened to my metro .. its was just low on some brake fliud

Well I know what i'll be doing tomorrow. I noticed my brake fluid level was low AND my e-brake light was doing the same thing. Now it's just on all the time. GOOD INFO :-D
