Greetings all. I have currently have 4 geo metros running for pizza delivery. I need some front brake hoses and was wondering if the swift hoses will fit. Ebay has some good prices on the swift hoses, but their compat charts says they will not fit. Thoughts anyone...

model year matters for considering parts compatibility for the brake hoses.

the swift front hoses will work on the verts and 95 up cars which have the ventilated rotor over hub front brakes.

Thanks for the quick reply, but still not sure if the hoses can be used on the metros. These cars do not have the vented rotors and I guess the only way to tell is to measure the length of the hose against a swift hose..The connectors seem to be the same...Guess I will do that...regards, Steve n Orlando

the length isn't what would be the deal maker or breaker.

the inner fitting would be the same but the outer fitting, the banjo fitting, might be different.

i don't have a base model caliper laying around to check. i do have a new set of braided stainless over teflon center tube hoses for a a swift gt out in the garage.

i know that the rear hoses are different. the drum brakes use a steel line from the wheel cylinder so that the rear hoses for the drum brakes have a compression barrel type outer fitting instead of a banjo type fitting connected directly to the caliper like the gt's disc rears.
