Ordered 4 new rear brake shoes, but one of the 4 had the pad glued on askew! To one side is sticking out approx. 2mm.

Are this OK to use or should I return it? Strange, was in a seald box so someone must bee tired at work... (Happens to me all the time)

does the lining overhang the steel frame on the other side?

if it does the extended lining will most probably snap off after some use due to not being properly supported. that would decrease the swept area of the brake and lessen the effective braking power.

Yes.. looks like a faulty item if you ask me. Will contact the seller and ask for a new shoe...

Item is not very expensive anyhow so not a big deal to order some more shores 8)

The control is strict enough, there is a limit on 20% difference I believe on L and R side in braking power.
