I'm looking to get a header for my Swift and was wonderin' what's best in the long run? I have a Genie on my other Swift that wasn't stainless and it started to rust pretty quick. Would it be better to get the cheaper header and get it coated or is the stainless a better option?

I would go for stainless. You can crack the coating if you hit it or some object hits it, then rust will appear. Unlike stainless that you can bend it, hit it, or whatever... and it will remain stainless. Better yet, you can polish it.

I have hit my Ceramic coated header on my Prostreet a few times to make clearence for things. Never peeled or cracked. They keep all the heat in the exhaust pipe. If your ceramic cracked off it was not preped very well. Mine have been run on the car for 6 years now and they look like new still. I would go ceramic the performance is alot better.
