i'll get flamed for this BUT. the factory header on these cars is not so bad. a 2 inch cat back with a split glass pac tip sounds sweet. the split top takes all the rasp out . gives it a low growl. & will help more than a header
around here it cost under $100.

I noticed ur vehicle is a barina, i'm assuming that the motor is the same as the swifts over here. Suzuki racing development has a header for ur car which apparently gives a noticable difference. I don't know first hand but they do make one for the g13a.

Save your cash and buy a gti!!
Dont pour money into a car your going to get bored with and want something faster.

I see it all the time with guys and their 1.4 Riced out Civics!!!
They spend so much money on the slow 1.4 that when they get bored with it they dont have the money to get a decent quick motor(cause they spent 10grand putting on an ugly body-kit, huge curb-magnet wheels and ridiculous spray job) plus loose a lot of money on the resale value of their rice-out piles.

Rant over!!

I'm not sure if they have them in the UK, but the Sidekicks have a pretty decent stock manifold that is basically a 4-2-1. I made a post about it with picks in the SOHC section, might want to take a peek. Depending on your monetary situation and availability of the manifolds it might be the way to for you. Just a suggestion...

bah every g13a barina i've seen has a 4-2-1 cast manifold.

Want mods?

a cam would probably net more for the same cost.

other ideas are

a suzuki sierra carb hat pipe and pod filter instead of the tennis racket.

Upgrade the coil.

run 98 and advance the timing
