Hi, does anyone know if there is any difference between MK2 and MK3 intake manifold? Any parts other than the hollow cams can be used on the mk3 for performance?

Cheers!

Hmm, I don't think there are any more parts from the mk2 to be used on the mk3. They are pretty much the same. But the mk1 GTi on the other hand I heard had stronger crankshafts and a very lightweight crank pulley.

Mk2 has the PCV valve on the plenum while Mk3 only has a nipple. The PCV valve is located on the valve cover for these models.

There are some minor cosmetic differences between the EFI plates. '89 models I believe had them mounted with cap screws.
