Except for the fact that there were no V8 ford rangers...where do these people come from?

My dad has a Ranger F150...

That might be where they get it from... Otherwise all Rangers are I4 or V6

How does the pusher bar mount? I've got a set of lights, but need something to mount them too, and pusher bars come in handy.

it mounts to the 2 "towe holes" in the front end, and to the lower cross member. it's quite solid. i've already winched myself up a rather steep hill (the winch is mounted to the bar) just to try it out. I plan to take my car hunting and push a little bush up in Drayton Valley. the extra tractor lights realy help night driving. it's like driving my wife's 08 impreza on highbeems. I think I may still add a set of 8" halogens though...

the check engine light came on last night. i flashed the codes, and turns out, my engine finaly realized that i bypassed the EGR system. -after racking 52 running hours! lol
that or the valve is sticking... it has nothing running through it though!

i also just picked up 2 more 6" H3 halogen fog lights for the bush bar. i want to tie them into the high beams, ut i have run into a hang up. is there such a thing as a headlight/high beam relay in these cars?

I have a friend who recently wrecked a ford ranger that had the 5.0 V8 same as in the mustangs... Anyway, the v6 ranger springs should be heavier than the metro stocks... Also, I got the info about the v8 ranger springs here on teamswift, its posted in a thread about putting a bunch of batteries in the trunk for an electric conversion I believe... It was for making a vert into a hybrid...

nope, just a redneck alberta boy...

little update...

i'm now also building what i think may be the first lift kit for a stock suspended geo. it will utilize stock cut springs and spacers to raise the ride hight about 2.5".

an other project for this winter will be to build a set of snow tracks that will fit my metro. i have seen it done to jeeps, trucks and suzi carrie's, so i figure at the very least they would help when i go icefishing.

i'll keep you guys posted.
