the digital cost $2500(Rs{rupees}) and i guess its made by brother meter?, and that he bought it in peshawar.

i doubt if it would, it was mounted in a "euro" mk5 (and gen2-mk6) pakistan/ect. suzuki cultus, its like our(north american) mk3, but with different bumpers.

im still tring to find out what car it came out of(if its OEM), and (if its aftermarket) the company that made it.......

i hope............ :blackeye:

Yeah, yeah, yeah... rub it in.
When my youngest son talks to me about things in centimeters I start yapping at him about having no idea what he's talking about.
I'm a dinosaur... I admit it. ;)

Don't feel too bad, NASA punched a multi-million dollar probe into the surface of Mars because half of it was programmed in Metric and the other half wasn't.

I havent had much chance to look into this, but the what I gather the guy said is that he got it from Peshawar RS 2500. I assume Peshawar is the city, RS maybe the company? and 2500 the price? I typed in Peshawar RS in google, and it came up with something along the lines of Anti-Smuggling LOL

I believe they have a similar style of car to the European models, which means they still produced swift up until 2000-01ish.

His car looks like a mk5 (96-00?) with the weird headlights, so maybe if there are any pakistani members on board, please enlighten us on any aftermarket dealers for the newer Swifts/Cultus's in the middle east. That would be amazing :) Thanks

~Jr

I think RS is the equivalent to our $ ie denotes the currency?

I am making some EL gauges faces for my metro but man that digital display makes me drool.

awesome !!!

I know the 96 up display custers FIT the 93-94 metros as well so it should be compatible from 93 through 2001

at that price if its accurate I would buy one on the GAMBLE it might work!

@Strider, that would be great! if your friend might know where to get it.

I would buy one just on the chance it might work also lol,
And if it fits the 93-94 metro, it will fit 92-94 Swift! AMAZING, *Drool*

on the compatibility, keep in mind that the 98 - 01 4 cylinder metros used distributorless ignition and have issues with tachs 97 and back. shape and fitment are one thing, electrical compatibility is another.

the photobucket pic is pooched :redx: here's the pic from the pakwheels site.

flourescent, night vision destroying blue. have at it. :-P

Doesn't matter, it's the wave length that blue hits your eyes and how they handle it, totally bungles your night vision. That is why they tend to use Green or Red in the military.
