Ive got a 4 door mk1 that I am wanting to put better seats into. Ive done lots of searching and found several alternatives in the mk2 & 3's, but few on my model.

Overall size, not taking into account any sort of mount mods ( I realize that may need to happen). Based on actual results, can anyone suggest alternative seats from other vehicles that might fit an mk1?

Thanks

Yep..saw your camaro seats...they looked nice...still searching a plenty. someone mentioned find a seat that fits your butt, then make it fit. Good idea I guess, just trying to avoid looking at any that will no way fit.

I'm a big fan of the 92-95 civic and acura integra seats myself
I got a system where i use part of the honda rail and part of the suzi rail
i was able to make them in about 1.5 hr for both seats
I've done 3-4 so far
recarro, civic del sol, integra, and corbeau ricer seats

all are better than metro

next set will either be out of a 89 civic SI (old recarro) or saturn redline(new recarro)

Thanks for the input..

Here is a step by step where I did use Honda seats. Maybe you do yours the same way I did mine.

A long time ago I read a post here on TS showing the first generation CRX seats bolting directly into a mk1 using the mk1 rails.
