Definately red. Match the rest of the car. You could paint it silver and then it would match my car. :mrgreen:

i cut off some m6 bolts and ground points on them. i held the midwing in the right mounting place and thumped it softly with my hand to transfer the locations of the points to the hatch.

watch the angles. i found 2 holes with slightly different entry angles. make sure that the bolts aren't too long, you don't want to bottom out against the plastic.

also, go lightly if you use any adhesive along with the bolts if you ever want to remove it.

I vote black midwing on any color of the car.

Remember, those a b c pillars are black from factory.

Ok midwing update.What a pain in the ASS!!! it is very important to get the angles just right for the bolts or the wing will fight you all the way.I had it installed but when i took up on the bolts it buckled in the middle no it did not break it i will open the holes up to relieve the strain .I ran out of day light so i took it off and covered the holes with silicon so for now it will have to wait till my next days off.

No big deal as of right now it is sitting in the garage.All I need to do at this point is open up the holes so it is not stressed. I will get it done soon.

Hi Fellas,

My apologies for barging into your thread un-anounced, but I may be able to help out a little here. I have in my possession a JDM Cultus GTi and my midwing was fitted in the factory. Here are pics and a few measurements;

Admittedly, I would have been better off using a flat ruler instead of tape measure but you get the general idea... it is very tricky to even find something to get a decent measurement from!

Oh... and just for interest's sake, here is the car:

Hoping this helps.

Cheers,

P.S Hey yummybacon, I have to say that I vote black as well... sorry Mate! :lol:
