So living in the states I don't have much in the name of options when it comes to acquiring swift headlamps.
I do however, have family living in Venezuela that can source them for me. Now for the hard part. Is there a difference between the gti head lamps, and those for the standard Swift? I can't seem to find any information pointing otherwise.
Insight is much appreciated. Thank you very much!

Javier.

it's the 89 to 94 model range.

the best deal i have found for replacing the headlights on the mk2/3 swift is from a merchant in riga, latvia. for a price around the $160-$170us range he will send a pair of glass e-code headlights and clear euro spec corner lights via dhl international to your door.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Suzuki-Swift-Cu ... 3340wt_969

look at his other listings for the rest of the parts and contact the seller for consolidated shipping.

Here's the story,

On ebay at the time of me finding the glass headlight they only had a listing for the left side headlight.
I messaged the seller through that listing that I wanted both headlights, and that his listing only shows the left, and there was no listing for the right....figure that out
He replied just go through with the order and payment and follow the directions.
So I thought maybe as I am ordering at some point I also order and pay for the right one. Well that didn't happen, so I messaged him and he said that he was unaware of there not being a listing for the right headlight and said the following day he will send me an invoice for the right headlight.
So I find out later they shipped separately and DHL sent me tracking emails and the customs charge for two separate boxes being shipped.
I messaged the seller and told him that i was ticked they sent them separately and that all along I wanted both headlights together, hoping he would reimburse me or something...

but no, so despite the fact that the Riga, Latvia seller was insanely friendly and quick to respond...I'm angry they would send them separate;go against logic.

They were shipped to my door here in Hamilton

I guess though, $175 for brand new headlights isn't so bad....

Thanks for the explanation Beach... I get it now.

That's happened to me before... two customs brokerage fees, instead of one... it hurts at $35+ a pop... THose U.S lads have it so easy.

for what it's worth, before i found this source for headlights i bought a used pair from a member here for $200 and then had to order the rubber seals from australia on top of that. nice new ones for $175, even with the import tariffs you guys get slammed with, is not all that bad of a deal.

my last order with the latvian merchant of right and left headlights and clear corners arrived bundled together in about a week for a total of $160. 8 a2 stainless flange nuts, a set of h4 ceramic head light sockets, some 28 led smd 194 lamps for the corners, and a pair of 35/55 watt halogen h4 bulbs put me right at $200 for the conversion.

i always contact the seller to make arrangements for my complete order and give him a chance to calculate the combined shipping. then he can invoice me through paypal for the total amount of the consolidated order.
