My SK8 was starting to look neglected as of late and needed to be all the same color at least. So, just to get it all looking more uniform, my friend and I decided to throw on some primer. There is a ton of body work still to do, so that is why we didn't just paint the whole thing.

First we removed the upper wing, mid-wing, headlights and tail lights. Then we did a little bit of body work including mounting the side skirt brackets that I have been putting off forever. Now they are nice and snug to the door jam without rattling. Also notice that I shaved the rear hatch lock recently too.

Then we started on the primer...

My buddy had some "leftovers" of prior paint jobs so we thought we would throw a "dusting" of white followed by metallic blue. This would give a sneak peak of how the car will look when it is all done. It won't be the same blue when it is finished, but it helps visualize...
