I took the plunge and ordered glass headlights and clear corners for the GT. If anyone needs them here are the links.

Left Headlamp: http://www.ebay.com/itm/200683609936?ss ... 1439.l2649

Right Headlamp: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321112434526?ss ... 1439.l2649

Left Euro Corner: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Suzuki-Swift-Cu ... 2c6164951d

Right Euro Corner: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Suzuki-Swift-Cu ... 2eb9d50e08

I used a weather proof 3 wire connector: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321186974263?ss ... 1497.l2649

I also did a HID upgrade while I had everything apart. Bought a 9003/H4: MORIMOTO ELITE HID SYSTEM from the retrofit source Here: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/produc ... s_id=12824

The difference is night & day!!!

Did the H4 fit the headlight... or did you need to adapt?

Looks great, by the way. Thanks for the links.

Euro's are H4's so no adapters needed. Only need to adapt wiring.

Thanks for the compliment.

the european e-code lighting is super and so is the seller in riga, latvia.

he sends the parts through dhl worldwide. it took under a week to get the sets i have ordered from him. although his auctions are listed separately, if you contact him prior to your purchase he will arrange discounted combined shipping. you pay with paypal which requires the individual shipping and after he ships he refunds part of the shipping charges back to your paypal account.

these glass headlights support the hid lamps very nicely. the optics on these lenses have a very sharp upper cut off and while the hid lighting is very bright, the cut off is sharp enough that the lights aren't blinding to oncoming traffic when i pull up behind a car at a stop with my headlights on, they never shine higher than the trunk lid so they don't bother the driver in front.

I got some of the clear corner lights and they don't fit on my Swift. They are too bulky on the inside and rub somewhere. Did yours fit right ?

Are you using them with the glass headlights?

the world market clear corners don't work with the north american domestic market swift head lights. the steel mounting bracket on the fender sides of the head lights needs to be butchered to get the clear corners installed.

ken, honestly, get the euro glass head lights from the guy in latvia and you'll be a happy camper. they are SOOOOO much better than the plastic composites.

the market in your geographical location would have glass lenses as standard but since these suzuki variants are world market cars, anything goes.

the easiest way i can think of to discern glass headlights from plastic is to look at the faces of the lenses. if the faces are smooth they are probably glass. if they have nubs (little conical protrusions) at the upper edges they are plastic.

the plastic lenses yellow from exposure to uv light over time while the glass headlights don't yellow.

also, the adusters on the composite plastic headlight assemblies move the entire module. the glass headlight enclosures are fixed and the adjusters move the reflectors within the assemblies.

my 2 cents.

Are these specified for rdh or lhd? Ive been thinking of doing either the Corrola headlights or doing these. Does some one have a close up of the reflector system on these?

You would need to change the hood and upper bumper cover. You could go with the Metro style rectangular glass headlights.

I had a t3 with a damaged front-end. could not find any composite headlights at that time, so I robbed all the hardware from a metro with 4x6 glass lights. bolts in no problem, and the light was output/beam was actually better. had to change the wiring harness ends to make them match the glass bulbs. polish your current composites and install a hid set-up, the clear corner can be modified to fit. will need a relay or two in order to get the hid kit to work properly. damn negative switched system.
anything I end up driving gets a hid upgrade. now that I have done 3 of these cars, its getting easier on each one. the last one was my gti, I have the system working but the low beam/ high beam is backwards....tried reversing the wires, but then it wouldn't work  I did not add a relay to this set-up, may need to do that.
sometimes the relay that comes with the hid kit needs to be removed and re-wired with a aftermarket relay. had to do that on my 'vert with composite lights.
on my metro I installed glass 4x6 lens that take h4 bulbs. installed a 55watt b-ixenon h4 kit, used 2 relays, one to turn on the bulbs, the other relay switches the low/ high circuit.

I have already polished my 91 and installed hid's. I didn't have to wire in any extra relays to get them working. Just plug and play. My 92 already has the glass 4x6 but I don't like the looks of them so I was looking for glass composite style for both.

the kits I bought are supposed to be ''plug and play'' :x but the stock relays were not lasting in the supplied kits....so I cut them out and re-wired them for bosch 40 amp relays....the delay time for them to fully light is a lot quicker than the stock relay, and they seem to be a little brighter
no full glass/ composite style for the t3 available, unless you change the hood and upper bumper skin.
I drive some gravel roads, the glass is always getting broken. :x put headlight film on the 4x6, that seems to be working. viewtopic.php?f=14&t=49818&start=25#p428936

the hid tubes create a serious amount of ozone and uv which fries the plastic lenses from the inside.

also, the optics of the plastic lenses aren't as good and the plastic lenses have very poor, blurred cut off and beam control.

i have glass composite head lights i got from metro-mike on my 91 blue metro vert and another set for my 91 gt converted red vert i got from a merchant in latvia.

the glass lenses are much better in many ways.
