I was driving and I heard a snap. Took plastic cover off and this is what I found

1994 Suzuki swift 4dr

looks like you need to find a seat rail or someone that can grind off those boogers and re-weld it.

Not the first time it broke. Could be re-welded. I would use some extra re-enforecment and a but hotter of a weld. That's was a shit job done before. Looks to cold of an arc on a gas less welder. Your best bet is to replace it. But if it's done right I can be fixed.

easy fix with a mig welder :wink:

I wonder who did this hack weld job up. I've only owned the car two months. I was told the guy before me that owned the car was a heavy fat guy.

That would explain how it broke originally. But that is one of the worst welding jobs I have even seen. Not even my first time in high school was that bad.

I could Be wrong, But it seems to me about a dozen years ago we swapped the seat frame from a similar year, More pedestrian Geo Metro for the broken one in a 93 swift 4 door, Might this solution work for you??? Jonathan
