Does anyone know if the front bumper from a 2001 swift will fit the 1999 swift
prefer the 2001 bumper but dont want to have to chop or modify it to fit

i'm very sure that you can swap them.

most of the time guys do it the other way and replace the later model "razor mouth" with the "guppy mouth" bumper from the older model cars.

The bumper cover itself is the same from 1998-2001. The rebar (OEM #: 30013626) mount behind the bumper cover may have been changed from steel to a composite material in the later models during this date range but should otherwise perform the same.

They will swap in with no problems. I prefer to take the whole front bumper assembly off to swap the skin. I have always found missing screws and a dab of silicone sealer keeps them from backing out once replaced. The corner screws on the front bumper
one on top, one on the bottom are the ones I always forget to take out.

Good, fast, cheap. You only get two.
