I just purchased creative labs jukebox and have to use a crappy tape deck with an adapter.
I have a sony CDX-750 it is last years (First year with ABP) model with the black flip motor-face. On the back of the deck are three line outs and 1 pair of BUS IN.
What is BUS IN? Can i run my player through these inputs?
I have the proper adapters and cords hooked up but i can't select these inputs as a source. Does this mean the inputs are for something else or is there a step i missed to select the inputs.
PS-I know of the tape adapter and FM adapter but if someone could tell me of a better way to hookup an external source to a CD player let me know.
Thanks

To answer my own question.....
I talked to someone at Crutchfield.com and was told that my BUS inputs are usless unless....I spend another $99.95(USD) for some kinda adapter. What a rip! I guess my shitty ass kenwood tape deck is going back in

I'm stuck again. I have an older pioneer cd changer that hooks up through the fm radio. it has a small "box". One end plugs to the receiver antena plug, another to the car ant, and the last plug goes to the changer. Everything is hooked up properly. the plug that goes to the changer has a regular headphone type plug. This works great because it can plug straight into my mp3 player without adapters. The problem is that when i scan the radio stations i can't pickup the mp3 output through fm. The station is supposed to be between 87.9 and 90.1. But i get nothing. I can see no reason why the output from the mp3 can't be detected but the changer's output can. I'm using the exact same setup for each except the mp3 or changer is connected.
Why is this? how can the little RF(?) "box" distinguish between the two signals? Do the Changer and mp3 output different types of signals? i would think they would both just output audio.
Thanks

I don't have the excact answer for your question but if you go to Pacific Audio and Alarm there is a discussion forum on it that should be able to answer the question.
