Do they make a Double DIN kit that will fit into a 92 Metro vert? It looks like the space is big enough to install both my monitor and CD player that I have in the focus now, but I want it to look good, not like it did in my focus since I had to hack up the bezel.

This, is what I want to try and fit into the Metro, along with my little 10" Punch P1 and Jensen Amp.

Don't knock the screen. it only cost me $88 shipped, and the picture quality is EXCELENT for the price (Beats my 32" Sony TV in quality)

because of the wierd shape behind the dash, there is only a 1 DIN space. you can use the approximate 1/2 DIN under the larger space for only a small chassis EQ or such.

i made a DIN radio/ 3 gauge steel cage for my car once and i had to get into the bottom part of the bezel by about 1/2". still, the heater box and dash supports won't accept 2 true DIN decks.

Thanks T3rag, guess he's S.O.L. then and has to buy an all-in-one unit if he wants. I was going to be nice and give him my screen and HU, but since I cant fit both, he'll be on his own in getting the HU. I'll still do the install, but not gonna buy him his system.

Yup. Ebay is your friend. its not a motorized screen, but works great. and even swivels a good amount (enough to offer a perfect view for either the driver or passanger) it has 2 inputs (AV1 and AV2) but not audio input or output. it is Video Only, but I conected the audio through the CD Changer port on the back of the JVC Head unit and am happy with the outcome.
