Hey Stereo Gods,
I have the stock Delco AM / Fm Cassette in my 94 Metro and the cassette tape just got stuck. Any non destructive ways, easy too? to remove it?

Take it out, remove the casing, and pry it out. If its stuck in their, the HU might be stuffed, those spring mechanisms aren't designed to last forever.

Hi:
I just did one, tried the prying route first with no sucess. Finally took it apart and couldn't still get it out, took a close look and realized the tape was wound around the motor, cut the tape and pulled it out, might be worth a look in case yours has the same problem.

Take the headunit apart and determine what the malfunction is (eaten tape versus hardware problem). Once you've unbuggered whatever was causing the problem you should be able to manually eject it (often it's as easy as moving a catch, and lifting the tape carrier). Even with electric ejection, there's ways to safely remove tapes as well.
