My friend is trying to sell me two 10 inch subs(they are in a box). They are made by Direct Pro. I've never heard of this brand before and am not sure what to do. They cost $110. Please help me!!

from the searching i have done, the only direct pro products i have found are for dj/concert use. other that that, they seem to be off brand speakers. for $110 you could get some good name brand speakers. $110 is more than i have in my MTX thunder 6000 12" subs

Ok so I won't get them. Personally what brands do you trust that are cheap/affordable?

MTX are decent speakers that can be cheap. im sure there are other brands that are good too, im just not too educated in the market of subs.

Future shop\ bestbuy, can usually get you 10\12's in the the price range of 79 bucks cdn brand new. pioneer\infinity\bazooka. They all work fairly well for their affordability, never listened to the bazooka tho.
