As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm a serious skinflint.

After a bit of searching I came up with these speakers that I might get to put in the stock speaker locations of my brand-new-to-me '93 Swift GT. ... dZViewItem

No, Clarion isn't one of the top brands, but they are probably the best of the budget brands and their products are mostly well engineered and decent sounding. I'd be willing to bet a considerable sum that these little speakers will sound much better than Pyramids or most of the other cheap stuff out there.

Just because you don't have a ton of money to spend doesn't mean that you can't have very good sound.

I'm a firm believer in getting the most bang for the buck and I'm cash strapped enough myself to have a lot of sympathy for those who are.

I have those in the 6.5" version in my Cavalier. they are a decent speaker but you may find them to be a little on the bright side. Not a big deal as you can drop the treble on your headunit to compensate for it. I put a fair amount of door insulation on the back of the speaker (covering the holes in the basket) and it made a world of difference in the sound. For a 4" I don't think you'll have any issues (becasue they won't be putting out any bass compared to the 6.5") but its food for thought. As soon as you can cut your doors and put a nice 6.5" midbass in there :P.
