The low bass takes far more power to reproduce cleanly than the rest of the audio spectrum. If you use a sub to reproduce the low bass then you really don't need all that much power to the main speakers to get loud enough to cause hearing damage fairly quickly, especially in something as small as a Swift.

One trick I use to get cleaner audio is to turn down the bass some in my main speakers while turning the sub up to compensate. The more bass you can remove from your main speakers the less intermodulation distortion you will get and the cleaner your audio will sound.
