needed some trimming to the backsized of speaker grills on my 91 turbos dash (reinforcments, needed to be smooth) they still bulge a bit (1/16 of an inch at most) and i could have trimmed down the tweeter cover to let it cleap but i wanted to keep the speakers untouched as i want warrentee.

they soulnnd awsome compaired to my crackling and popping stock acdelco ones from back when the car was new.

also finally painted my aux guages custom panel black to match interior (its 1/4" ply mounted in the center console compartment) also added my amps bass boost controller between my 2 guages so its all hidden and looks alot nicer.

if needed i can get pictures of the speaker grills and there modification to allow the speakers to fit

update!

new rears are also installed in the hatch (previous owner had some radioshack speakers installed there) installed the aplines with some old pioneer covers (older mid 90's grills) got the grills from a local audio place for free as i wanted to hide the alpines as best as i can (make it look like it has older crappy pioneer speakers) :D
whole system came back together today from the speakers down to the bass controller being mounted into the center console/aux guage panel. (really looks nice, for a piece of black plywood...) next step is to figure out a rear hatch cover/lugguage rack to hide the subs and box, and recessing the guage panel into the console so the stock compartment door can be closed overtop (so when its parked it looks stock)

all the things you do to be able to part downtown... and have your car in one piece by the end of the day. gotta invest in an alarm.....
