Can anyone recommend a quality 4" speaker for my 92 vert. I just picked up a am/fm/cd player from the pic&pull for 23.00 with a warranty out of a 99 LSI 4dr, perfect fit, plugged right in, works fine but man are my speakers hit. I don't need all the kicker action, just lookin for some crisp clear sound. I have an older set of jvc 3 way 6x9's that were in my Tracker, I was going to use in the rear.
Should I go with a small amp to help the stock radio out?
Looking for some good input!
Thanks Ahead, George.

Yep, pick up some Alpine Type-S 4" SPS-400s, they sound great, and I put 6.5" Type-Rs in the back.

The 4s dont give too much bass because they are a 4" speaker, so dont crank the bass up, if you want bass, get a sub.

The type Rs fit nicely into the plywood in the rear quarters, and they have a lot of bass even with negative EQ.

Just the stuff I know sounds good, but they are pricy, so choose carefully.
