I just bought a 97 Metro 1.0 and am quite happy with it but there is no radio what so ever just a blank plate I cant fined any kind of adapter ether. Has any one here attempted a stereo install from scratch?

You can cut the plate to fit an aftermarket stereo. The radio plug will be back there and most still have speakers installed, so once you mount it and wire it in, you will have tunes! Radio antenna can also be installed by getting one from a junkyard or use a yard sale antenna and mount it like I did............

Thnx for the help I went out and dug some more in the dash and still cant find a wire harness and there are no speakers but I do have an antenna

There is a harness, but it is just a small white plug unless someone else had a radio installed and cut the plug out.

OK you where right it was there just Zip tied to the back of the frame with the antenna cord I had to feel around for it thnx for all the help
