The build is done for now, just thought that you guys over hear would like to take a look at the Punisher.

Any and all comments welcome.

This has been an on going project over the last month. It has turned out to be a great attention getter, as well as a daily driver.

On with the pics.

This is my brothers little car, he got the subs in a trade for his TL meter. Two RE SX 18 D2's.

Box is 15cuft @ 34hz.

ap3000.1D.

On with the pics.

Nice build. Did you double up the MDF on the top of the enclosure as well? The pics only show one layer.

The whole thing is a budget build.

car 250
subs (used) 400
amp 390
wire 125
Box and trim 180
door panels 0
Deck 139
comp set (used) 80

So around 1500 for a car with full system.

Yes the subs are 18" RE SX D2's

And believe it or not, that amp is one of the best power to price ratio amps around.

Someone on Termpro clamped one 2600+rms@ 12.6v

What are you going to do when the sheet metal and glass finally give up?

Then damn man you did well. that's not a power rating I would expect out of an entry level amp. nicely done :)

Ill find some pics of the board.

They are quite beefy little amps.

I believe you that the jbl is as powerful as you say, but that picture isn't a jbl amp. at least not a current one or the one that you have in. side by side on those pictures that one's about twice the length of yours and you can pretty much see the board of a jbl anyways through it's top.

what make is that huge amp you showed a pic of?

Pretty sure thats the Audiopipe...and pretty sure what he quoted you for power output was what the Audiopipe does.

the jbl you are refering to was for testing purposes only, it is only rated at ~1100rms@ 2ohm

I stated in the first post that the amp being used currently is an AP30001D (the pic i just showed)

And it is the amp that does 2600@12.6

It'll be a waterfall effect...the louder you get the more things you'll have to reinforce.
