If it is a GT then you have the G13B . The G13A is a SOHC engine where the G13B is a DOHC engine.

"Don't argue with stupid people. They just bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience"

hehe,
no,

G13B is a DOHC 16 valve 1.3L

G13BA is the engine number on a SOHC 8 valve 1.3

It's got the same block, except they have different heads.

G13A is an older pre 88 engine??

but anyway, if you got a 94GTi, then it's a G13B

G13B is also a 16 valve SOHC engine.

Mike

I'm pretty sure that it's a DOHC, not a SOHC,
the G16B is a SOHC 1.6L 16v SOHC?
but the G13B should be a DOHC,

if in doubt, open your bonnet, and see if you got DOHC or SOHC,

Blocks stamped G13A are in Samurais and such. SOHC 8Vs Swifts have G13B blocks with different internals fro the DOHC. People tend to refer the G13B sohc as G13A though.

16Valve SOHCs are also G13Bs.

-Kyle Jones
Junk-Yard Turbo set-up, formerly NOS-fed, constantly evolving 1989 Suzuki Swift GTi
