It's using the sequential 6 speed bike trans. Chain drive as you can see in the pix.

It is the came car "evilgo" built. I just bought it from him. I'll be headed out to a track day at the streets of willow springs next month to figure it out a bit.

I'll keep everyone posted as it comes along.

I see after a bit more searching that this car has been a subject of many posts on this forum. I'll be sure to keep the legacy going as I get this onto a race track.

First, welcome and great to see a good Suzuki like that has found a good home and not someone who would abuse it. What is the HP & Torque roughly and what are some speeds you think you might get to?
Seconds, answers to your question:
>1,2,&3. The stock GTi rotor and calipers are bigger than the 3 cylinders. But if you really want big, SRDhttp://www.suzukird.com/index.php has a big break kit that fits the Suzuki, it's for the front though. They also have a coilover kit for the Suzuki.
>4. As for wheels and tires, you can use 15's with 195/45R15. If you need 16's, you can use 16's with 205/40R16, but then you run into the problem of tires rubbing and rolling of the fender lips.

If you have the solid front front rotor setup. The 95-up front splindles with the vented rotors would work. Alot easier to locate than GT items. Others chime in if I'm wrong, but I don't remember the outter cv's of the 3cyl fitting the gt hub.

I think it has only about 100hp but is markedly lighter than stock so it goes pretty well from what I have seen so far. A big part of the fun is the sequential gearbox. If it works out well I'll source a cbr 900 motor and that has a lot more HP and torque.

With the gear ratios it has now I think it would get going over 120. 12k rpm redline!

I just spent the day remounting the rear of the engine to lower it a bit so I can put a hood on the car. Now that that's done I will be heading to the boneyards to get some rims.

although i did not see any burn-outs, i'm satisfied until the upgrade. btw it must be noisy as heck driving that thing. and BTW it would be a good 'sleeper' race car until you hear the exhaust.

Yeah, roll up to guy to race him and when he hears it's rev limit at 13,000rpm, he'll think twice.

Just did a bit of math and calculated the speeds in gears using 195/50 15 tires.

@ 12000 rpm (redline is 13k)

Note how close the ratios are.

1- 43.7 mph
2- 63.8
3- 81.8
4- 93.3
5- 106.4
6- 117.6

Looks perfect for Streets of Willow Springs. Taking the car there next month...

Damn, they don't make custom gears for the trans. Those are pretty close.

Nice mods, avendlerdp. Is that the reason why in the video you see it like jumping when it is trying to accelerate? If it was, then I bet it accelerates better now than before.
