Can I use g13b pistons on g10t rods? I'm building a motor that can handle a little bit of high rpm abuse, with a decent safety margin, but need too make sure before I buy the rods on Monday. Thanks in advance.

in one word, no.

if you want to build a hot g10, use the twincam rods and pistons. they are considerably thicker rods, used on the turbo3 engines.

the reason you can't use the twincam pistons on the g10 rods is that the wrist pin height is different between the 2 pistons. that would cause the twincam pistons on g10 rods to protrude from the top of the block.

I asked about g10t rods, turbo rods are what I'm asking about, I would go with dohc rods, but haven't found a set for a reasonable price, but have found a set of turbo rods with pistons for $50 plus shipping.

turbo3 and twincam engines use the same rods. the only thing different is the quantity.

pretty much any engine parts will fit any g family engine. they all use the same bearings and seals, water and oil pumps, etc.
