Hi new to this forum but was told to come here and check it out by the geo metro guys. I have a 1992 Geo Metro AKA the 1992 Poddy I have had her for 4 years and have spent the past 2 years re-doing her to back to show room shine on the good note she has no rust and has 115000km on her and is a 1.0L. My only problem is the trans locks itself in third and I have to shift it manually. The current mod list in a dual air intake, rad and trans cooler designed as a performance upgrade for a 1995 Civic SI. I have a hush thrush muffler that I will install once I get a new exhaust manifold that I intend to bore out and use for better flow. Here is the link to my car with the way it looks now for the moment. http://s1262.photobucket.com/user/1992P ... y.jpg.html

Welcome aboard. While not keen on all the red inside, this is your ride and she looks good. Keep it up.

Thanks for the warm welcome. You should here the little 3 banger roar with the dual intake, she sounds like a 4banger.

Lets try those pics again http://s1262.photobucket.com/user/1992P ... sort=3&o=0
http://s1262.photobucket.com/user/1992P ... sort=3&o=1

My dad and I painted her with duplicolour jet black ready to spray paint spray and clear coat while it was a thin paint I think she came out ok. There is allot of orange peel but some buffing should help reduce it. Again its not perfect but it will do.

Yea that's the trans cooler. The rad bit the bullet 6months after I got the car. So my mechanic had an aftermarket trans and rad cooler meant for a 1995 Civic SI. Cost me a few bucks but I never have to worry about my car overheating. It was not that expensive either about $500 for it all said and done.

you might get some heat because It's not double clamped on the hoses and secured
