They will... all suspension parts are equivalent from '89 to '00 no matter what the make. Turbo or NA Suzuki, Chev, Pontiac, Geo... it's all the same.

The biggest difference, besides construction, is that they are adjustable and the factory units are not.

You could do that... but then if I'm wrong, you won't have any second opinions. :D

The GTi toe bars are the same as any other model's toe bars. Steel bushings might be a good upgrade, but you'll probably still have the hop:

They are made from 6061T6 Aluminum Bar 3/4" Thick with right and left hand rod ends to allow precision alignment for the rear wheels. These bars will also stop the "bunny hop" or flexing of the stock toe bars on hard cornering. I have been using these bars in my race car for over 6 years with no wear problems or breakage.

n1tro.....I believe Joe is getting them from a supplier who will charge taxes, not a private deal situation.

Well if that's the case then he is not allowed to recoup the taxes from resale. He has actualy told me that it is coming from his business Indovina Racing and, therefore, tax is perfectly cool. However, as a business sale he needs to get into contact with Kris about that.

To clear the air, M said it right.

I am selling the bars via my racing team - Indovina Racing - which is a registered business in Ontario. So therefore, I must collect GST and PST from Ontario buyers, GST from all Canadian Buyers other than those in the maritimes where I have to collect HST.

Why bother? The reason is because of cost. By providing my suppliers with proper identification and tax numbers, I am able to get a jobber/dealer/wholesale price on the parts. Without this reduced price, the cost of the toe bars would have been another $30 more.

This is why I have done the group buy this way. I am just trying to save everyone some money and give them an opportunity to enjoy their swift as much as I have enjoyed racing my swift since 1992.

I have sent nitro an email to explain my case and I am awaiting his decision on the course of my actions and what recourse will be taken.

I am not trying to become a millionaire doing this. I am just trying to offer parts that I have made for my race car to other teamswift members to enjoy at a very reasonable cost. Since I plan to offer other parts as time permits, I will be following the same format.

I thank everyone for their understanding and feedback regarding this issue.

Thanks for your patience.

Is there any interest from any one in doing another group buy for the toe bars? Again, price will be in the range of $120 - 150 based on the numbers.

Please let me know.

Lee, glad the postal service worked once again.

As for the next group buy, I have three members interested so far. Please send me a PM if you want to participate in this next group buy.

Thanks
