I am setting up an account with the North american importer of Genie exhaust systems. I hear the GTi guys talking about the Genie stuff, and thought if there is interest, I will try to set up a group buy for the GTi headers. I would need a min of 6 orders to get a decent price. Right now, they tell me list is CDN$370/US$305.
I can probably do CDN$300/US$250, or better.
Those prices seem high to me, but I'm going on the info they have given to me.

I'd be interested, I got a lil more money left for the car to blow, and I hate the design of the stock header, and it basically being a huge rust tube.

just one more thing, are we talking about 4-2-1 ; 4-1 or both? And what would be best for 1/4 mile?

I have no idea.
I'm not really into the GT thing, just thought that I could pass along a little better deal if there is interest.

this is an old thread, for sure, but i've been looking for a genie header for my twincam. everybody seems to be jumping on the suzukiRD bandwagon but i think i'll hold out for something else.

I dropped it because there wasn't enough interest. If we get a few more interested, I'll revive it.

Just wondering if you know how much they are selling one for? I'm running a Genie header right now and it's great I have no issues, the only problem is that the header is like 10 years old and is ready to be replaced  I was hoping you could give me the name of the company or a web site so I could look into this even if there is no group buy. I've also heard great things about their cat back systems but not sure if they still make them?

Basically it is soo rusted out that I thought about having it blasted and go from there but I've spoken to a couple of my buddies and they are not sure that because it's so rusted it may blow holes in the metal and when I had my exhaust upgraded the flange that connects the bottom of the header to the rest of the exhaust was so rusted that they cut it off and welded the exhaust strait to the header  We where going to add another flange but there was not enough room to do that with out adding piping to the header. So know I have an exhaust with no flex  so I figure I'll just replace it and add the proper connectors. plus I wanted to look into getting the cat back system that Genie sells or used to sell because I was not able to find anything like that on their site.

I might look into it a bit more and see what I can do now that I know at least if it get's wrecked I'll be able to buy another one. I think my buddy said his work has a huge sand blaster room  and that he could take it there and leave it in the room to be cleaned? any suggestions? is there a better way so as not to risk wrecking it totally. any suggestions are appreciated.
