Guys, Gaz from redlinegti.com is putting together a group buy for CF hoods..here is a direct (cut and paste) quote...

So... On to the SPECIFICS

Only 1 Mould will be made
Design is going to be based on stock swift GTi bonnet unless an agreement is reached in making a CF bonnet with a vent (+50 AUD).

The cost of a full carbon fibre bonnet is AUD $550.00 each.

A minimum of 5 must be ordered and production will commence once we receive a deposit of $150 AUD from AT LEAST 5 individuals.

Fitting can be organised if buyers is in VIC. (Australia)
Cost of Shipment will varies. We will ship ANYWAY at buyer's expenses.

This is an example of his work (S14 Bonnet)
STOCK S14 Bonnet ~18KG
TOPSTAGE S14 CF Bonnet ~6KG

Please note that the vac moulded hood is not yet prototyped....
But if anyones interested in a FRP hood (handlaid) heres th proof that I have my OWN projects underway..... At least I`ve got something to show for my efforts.... :? I`m not "retailing" but just mentioning what I have in case there are guys out there like me who are frustrated with stillborn groupbuys....it aint done till its MADE..... :thwack:
