I´ve come across some cheap FM transmitters for I-pods/MP3 players etc.
The transmit at a frequency of 106,7-107,1-107,5-107,9.
The range is up to 30 meters.
I was thinking you could use them with your scanner/Policeradio so that any car radio within the range can pickup the transmition.
I have two types of transmitters. The first one you connect to the lighteroutput in the dash. The second type is batterypowered and slightly smaller. (Batterytime aprox. 10 hrs) It also comes with a lighteroutput adapter.
You connect the transmitter via a 3,5 mm stereo plug to scanner/policeradio, Mp3 Player. Ipod et.c.
The price is 30$ (CAD) Includes shipping.
