would any of you be interested in Teamswift T-shirts?
i was on another forum and saw theirs, they were sweet, and was just wondering if there is interest for the same thing here.
post back with opinions/the number of shirts you would buy. we can try and think of a design for the front/back of the shirt. i will take a guess and say each shirt will cost between $10-$12 canadian $$ for the final product.

thoughts??

Craig
-Daley-
1989 Swift GTi
slightly moddedMy Site!Pictures page

Hey thats a great idea I was thinking about that on those hot summer days. I would be interested in about 4 if possible. I assume they would be either white or Black correct?? I'd prefer white. Maybe we could starts a contest to see who can design a nice shirt (front and back) that everybody can agree on and the prize is a free shirt? I dunno just an idea to get people interested and motivated. Please keep me posted on any progress.

Jake
jake_mc18@hotmail.com

well we can make this the thread to see how many people want and see designs.

i posted in general discussion, but since this is the more official thread i'd say, lets put it all in here.
some sort of teamswift logo on the sleeve, or on the chest, big(in the centre) or small(on one side). and on the back, either a pic of a swift, or a g13b or something.
since the url for the board is way too big i'd say we're better to stick with teamswift.
in terms of colour - red, white, blue, black.
sizes go from small to XL. i think the shirts are fruit of the loom, but i'll have to check.
the images will be silk screened on, unless there is a more efficient way to do it. any ideas let me know.
any more designs, post em here. i'll try and post a few ideas for the front/sleeve later tongiht.

i'd hope to get at least 60 shirts before i can start the run of them. this isn't final, its just to gauge interest in this idea moreless.

Craig

what do you mean quick? That was at least a few hours of wasted Swift tshirt time. What I really want to know, are you dissin' my Suzuki S in the Teamswift logo? *slap*

I'm not saying I like my shirts, they are just sort of plastered on there now

you should be able to stuff a t-shirt in one of those shipping envelopes so I don't think shipping to spain would be a problem. CDN dollars are just a few european peanuts.. I'm not even sure you guys need money to use over here (truthfully, I think it is around $6-7 EUD).

Kyle Jones
Your friendly TeamSwift Op.
Junk-Yard Turbo set-up, formerly NOS-fed 1989 Suzuki Swift GTi

For thouse who live in Europe

10 $Canadian = 6.33 Euros
12 $Canadian = 7.6 Euros

That means T-shirt will cost between 6.3 and 7.6 + shipping cost (don't know how much).
Well, I will tell to some friends, perhaps I will be interested in order 2 or 3 t-Shirts (perhaps more).

Thanx

I actually agree on the simple. And I'd be happy without the pic. I had one without the pics and just lettering that I thought looked better. I can tone down that S, and the TeamSwift as well, fill it up another way.

For a white T-shirt, I was thinking Suzuki Colours with Blue lettering and the red S. If we wanted a white and a black that would work. I nabbed that shirt off of ebay and decided I liked my red S better on the front. Could always keep the S on the front and... and... ah hell... I'll go mock up another..

Craig if you want, I can send you the files on that site (or right click and save from the web page). I don't have anything larger to start with though. I was going to check out ebay examples for a white one to mess around with (where I got the black example).

Obviously I'm partial to the whole teamswift decal, but we could just make a run with the 'front' part of the shirt, and leave the back plain. Put a smaller symbol on there to affiliate it with the club, or just affiliate it in our minds.

Kyle Jones
Your friendly TeamSwift Op.
Junk-Yard Turbo set-up, formerly NOS-fed 1989 Suzuki Swift GTi

Edited by: Whattheeee at: 10/10/02 7:26:01 pm

lol... no more updates... if anybody so inclined, wants to come up with a small decal for the club, it would be nice. Maybe put that on the front and make one of the fronts the back.

Kyle Jones
Your friendly TeamSwift Op.
Junk-Yard Turbo set-up, formerly NOS-fed 1989 Suzuki Swift GTi

I agree with Murr for the extra cost whatever it may be let's get a pic of a gt in action on the back. We need something that stands out from the crowd. How about the red Suzuki S on each shoulder, Teamswift (with url under it) on the front, and a picture of a swift on the back with a couple of other urls like the team swift store url or strictlyswifts.com... I don't know what picture but I'm sure sopmeone from the board will let us use their car on a Tshirt.

oooo, maybe we could take some of those badges and sew them on. It would potentially add a few bucks on, so perhaps on a limited edition TeamSwift shirt.

Kyle Jones
Your friendly TeamSwift Op.
Junk-Yard Turbo set-up, formerly NOS-fed 1989 Suzuki Swift GTi
