what do you mean by inserts? things you put in the stock rubber holes? or a poly bushing to replace the rubber in the mount?

black has the broadest appeal, so companies start with it.

Suzuki tends to be red or blue.

I like blue or red, my valve cover off of the G16 I got the header from was powder coated dark blue. Black does blend in the easiest, and look stock.

Before ordering a trailer full of mounts you should give us the final price

urethane mounts are already available elsewher, i'm looking for a cheaper alternative. i've got hockey pucks right now, it's not doing the job. they keep falling out of the brackets.

Understand mine will not have those little lips at each end of the bushings mine will be smooth and need to be pressed into the mount..I would like to price them around 35-45 bucks+S&H..That will include the bushing and steel insert for the bolt to slide in...

Not all urethane is created equal.
As you can see here
http://www.mcmaster.com/#8644k11/=1j278y
some of us have been adding these caulk products to holes we cut in rubber bushings, and let sit 48hrs.

Hardness Shore of 80 works well. 94 is stiffer

geofarace, Do you have a choice?

I'm in for all 3.
Red if available. Black OK.
Harder durometer preferred.

I'm already running the "tube o silicon" modded mounts and it was a negligible improvement.

Well I understand why you would like solid steel because of your racing but the 95A is the hardest ava??

For the first run, I'd go with a bit softer compound. Like was earlier suggested the 80A. I'm not building some race monster, and most people aren't. So I can sacrifice a little hardness to cut down on alot of transferred vibration.

a local machine shop can likely make some and press them in your mounts.

have a few extra made and sell them to our other racers.

Well I got the stock in but the company sent the wrong size cause there are 2 different size bushings on our cars one was right the other size was off ..prices would probably stay between 35-45 just waiting till i can find some stainless inserts for the bolts!
