Ok, don't get too excited just yet.

I will need to guage some SERIOUS interest (read: COMMITMENT) in the following items:

Factory SGP Factory GRAY floor mats.
Complete set of 4, including the driver's seat bracket "hook" that will keep the driver's mat from bunching up.

They are, well, GRAY, and have the SWIFT emroidered patch in them.
I have seen a set and they look, well, 100% mint. Don't like gray? Pick up a can of Fabric Dye and do them in any color you want. The "SWIFT" embroidered patch is black with white font. It says "SWIFT" ONLY on the driver's and passenger's mats...NOT the rear mats.

Will need a committment of at least 8-10 for them to be a good bargain.
Don't hold me on it now, but if I can get 8-10 'FOR SURE's, then they will most likely ring in somewhere in the $69-$76 CDN / $55-$60 US range...shipping EXTRA. Please remember these are FACTORY SUZUKI parts.

Please let me know as I will have to make decisions by Monday 17th.

Post here. Looks like a 1 chance in a lifetime deal....here it is, lemme know.

Are they brand new or used? You say they look absolutely mint, and if they are new they should. If they are new and you need an extra order then I'm in. If you get enough orders then I really dont need them that bad. PM or email me if you need me to order.

well, I can see your question since I don't actually say it:

THEY ARE 100% NEW
THEY ARE 100% FACTORY SGP FLOOR MATS
THEY ARE 100% SEALED IN FACTORY PLASTIC
THEY ARE 100% PERFECT FIT FOR THE SWIFT

By the looks of things, it'll be a flop.
I'm honestly really suprised.
I'll wait and see if anything changes re: interest by Monday...

I'm surprised also. Everyone could use new set of mats. Especially if they fit like the stockers since most aftermarkets look like crap in comparison. I'm still interested if it ever goes through any other time though.

to the 3 people who have shown interest,
I will do my best to get final details for you via PM...
this will take a few weeks at best as I'm swamped with lots of stuff I've gotta take care of in the next 2 weeks.

as for everyone else, I can't believe you'd give up a chance at factory mats below the dealer's price. I know guys who are driving 1 and 2 hours away to junkyards in hopes of finding some factory mats that aren't totally mangled...and are paying up to $25 for a set!
...hell, there was a USED set of mats for the Swift that sold for over $50 US on ebay a little while ago!!!

Cheers,
Rick

Did anything ever become of these floor mats? My newly purchased GTi doesnt have any, and I have not been able to find any aftermarket replacements that I like.

I would love the chance to buy a set of factory embroidered mats. I PM'd TGstring, but havent heard anything yet....

I don't believe there was enough interest and it flopped.

I will try to see if I can get my hands on a few sets and keep the price at the same point.

Gimmie some time and I will get back to all of you.

Stay tuned,
Tommy

I'd be interested if they're light and if they match the colour of the carpet.

Has there been any word on acquiring these mats? I am still in forsure for one set, and maybe a second if they are cheap enough.

Winter is here, and I need mats asap. If we cant get these, I will have to find some cheap alternative from Canadian Tire or something  .

Would these mats fit in the older models (mine's an '86)? If so, are they still available?

negative on the pre '89 fitment.

plus, I'm 99% sure that what you see there is the last set I can get my hands on, save for some miracle

should I come across more, I'll post.

the set you see is pretty much spoken for
