brand new from india, however minimum order is something like 200 pieces minimum .... so it's not something i can see any of us doing on our own .. post here if you have some interest .. i don't know anyone who hasn't had to deal w/ the pitted or fading lenses.

---
update;
they also have clear corners, altezza tail-lights to fit our swifts, & replacement fog lamps, & we are trying to work out some order quantitys vs. prices, but they look to be very in-expensive. as in less per pair then clear corners & the clear corners may be only a fraction of what they are right now.
--

Edited by: n1tr0 at: 9/6/03 9:55 am

Those look nice Kris but that's alot of coin. Check these out from Suziwest in AUS You'll have to go through to the GTi section and they're on the last page in the body accessories category. It won't direct link sorry.
Headlights and clear corners
At $140 AUS a piece for the lights it's a might bit cheaper. They look to be very clear too.

IF enough people stepped up the price could be reasonable (50 people would be $100us a pair) for the ones from India and I'd be interested.
Might have someone in AUS check with Suziwest and see what their lights are like and if we could get a buy on them to compare. Just a thought.

Edited by: SYL23 at: 9/1/03 12:47 pm

I forgot your guys exchange rate is pretty much even with AUS. Yah if they're cheaper and are a DIRECT fit I'm in. I still see it taking quite a few people to make it a reasonable price Keep us posted. By the way how the hell did you come across those anyways?

i work nights, so i have WAY too much time to surf the internet ..
& yes, they're direct fit . they actually have them in left hand drive or right hand drive & clear or the rainbow style 'n' so on ... it sucks that they're a wholesaler, but tomorrow they're US office should be open to talk to ... should have better english then india.

I'm interested in the headlights/corners if they fit, they look nice and fresh! Would definitely spruce up the front end of my GTi, plus probably give out more light through those non faded crystal clear looking lenses! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=" >D">

still working it out w/ shipping from india .. it could probaby be done under $100cdn/pair & clear corners for less then half of that. i should be getting the samples soon.
it sort of depends on if i can get the money to do this entirely myself or if i'll need to find someone who wants to invest as well .. haven't gotten a lot of response on this

For that price, I would take them also! ¸That's cheap when I could buy at the junkyards near me two used headlights for 50$ each (100$) and the stock corners for 20$ each (40$)... So that's really a deal since that they are new...

I'm still interested. Yeah, I think some pics would definitely stir up some interest, along with your frank assessment of the product firsthand.....

Are they still wanting a huge order? I know I'd be in on most of the stuff (no altezza lights unless they're really trick). I await the photos :D
