Actually if you had an idea about the date that would be awesome. cause I have money now, but I also need new axels. So if the buy is soon, I will wait, but if it's not going to be for a few weeks I'll get the axles now, and I should have the money to buy the springs again in a few weeks.

I am going to speak to my supplier tomorrow. He call today, but I was unable to call him back. Hopefully I will have all the answers tomorrow.

I spoke to my supplier today to confirm pricing and delivery. The cost for a set of springs will be $250 CAD or $200 USD. This is higher then what I originally thought it would work out to be as I only have 13 buyers/interests in the springs which is not enough to get the price lower.

The next step to confirm how many sets I should order. Right now I have the following users that want springs and would require confirmation of that number before I order - leeye, fbergski, mcquirk, sexyGTI, mojojoeyjojo, big feller, capt. chris, black_striped_GT, Dan GS DOHC, sydtheskater, miam3d, boxster paul, PR16VTURBO.

The last day to confirm is May 26th. This will be the day I order the springs. Once I place the order it will take approx. two weeks to get the order completed - if we are lucky, they will have it done in a week.

After this initial group buy, springs will cost $325 CAD or $260 USD if they are available.

I do accept paypal payments and would require either a deposit or payment in full to confirm your order. Deposit will be $100 in either currency. PM if you need my paypal account.

Thanks for everyone interest.

The springs have arrived. I will post pictures of the finished pieces tonight. Shipping will begin and I hope to have it all completed by the end of the week.

If anyone else is interested, I do have a couple of extra sets. PM if you want them before they go up on Ebay.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the group buy.

What's the final buy price and any idea what they'd cost to ship to the States (Maryland - 21401). How do these differ from H&Rs?

The springs cost $260 USD or $325 CAD for a set of 4. I have never tried H&Rs so I really can't give you a fair comparison. All I can say is that I have raced with these springs on my swift GT for the last 13 years and they work great. It lowers the car by 1-1/2" - 2", gives a very firm ride, easy to install as they are shorter than stock springs so you won't need a spring compression tool to do the installation, greatly improves the handling, eliminates most of the body roll because of their spring rate, etc.

Your cost for shipping would be $34 USD via FedEx Ground.

Let me know if you want a set.

Thanks

Joe

Here are the finished springs. I still have some sets available because some those memebers that wanted them that were going to pay when they arrived have changed their minds.

PM if you are interested.

Ok, I've had these suckers for almost 2 years now, and just today did I get around to putting them on, and I've only put the fronts on so far! I ran out of time and had to go to work before I could finish. I have a 96 North American Metro, the springs are just a shade large for the struts, but they fit ok, I drove around on them today and there are no real problems. The ride isn't too bad, it's definatly harsher, however it feels great on nice flat asfault. Once I get the backs in, I'll give a full report.

Do you guys know if I can swap in older swift struts? I'm guessing that the part the spring rides on is just a shade bigger on the older swifts, so the springs will fit perfectly. I know the older swifts have 2 bolts holding them in and not 3, but I'm guessing I could just keep the top of my currernt strut (no fitting issues) instead of the other struts. Do you guys know if everything else will fit or not.

Thanx
-Chris

Any struts for a mk2 or later (89+) should work. Also only the mk1 cars had two bolts holding them in the shock towers.
