Holy shit! that's astounding! Too bad I'm broke: 118,000 ¥ = $1,400 CAD!
BTW, AA33S is MK1 GTi.

I have seen LSD from Cuzco even cheaper on the jap yahoo auctions
It's from these guys http://www.pht.jp/vigoras/cgis/shop/shop_index.cgi
and they only ask 99.100 Yen for the same LSD to bad they won't reply to an english written email so i don't know how much they can take off if we would take off more LSD's at once
http://www.cusco.co.jp/english/e_lsd.html seems to be the guys who can make the best deal i emailed them about prices so if i get a respond i'll let it know

for more info about the LSD

Guys...

Using the websites above I found that Bozz Performance is a distributor for Cusco in the US. I remember that distributor from another thread....

I asked him how much for a LSD here is his reply....

Quote:
hello there!

thank you for your interests and inquiry here on the cusco product line from japan!

we think the chasis code to your vehicle should be AA33S, if so....then here are the prices and parts in which you are looking for........

the type rs lsd is 1292.38 and the type mz lsd is 1182.86

sorry, no sway bars are made for any suzuki's from cusco's line up..........

the front strut tower bar is 137.14, the rear strut tower bar fits only the AA34S model, but this is also 137.14

shipping on this unit is free to you as a special promotional campaign that we are offering at this time, as well as any cusco lsd order you will also receive a free cusco cloth banner, decals and a t-shirt...........

hope you will take advantage of this special offer, the unit is ready to ship to you as soon as payment is confirmed and order is confirmed with us.........

please let us know if we can be of any further assistance and if you have any other questions for us.........

thank you!

Anyhow, I thought we could ask for a group price....if you guys are interested in that. I live in San Jose, near UnionCity and can verify this guy if we need to.

99.100 yen is only 960 USD and i think shipping a single unit from japan to us or europe won't be more then 50 dollar so i think Bozz Performance have to take a lott off before i'm interested

i don't think the bozz guys prices are totally out of whack, it might be worth it to have a dealer that speaks english and is in the same country when it comes to exchanging that amount of money and needing parts/warranty on it, that's really no more then what rospen and most others charge for an lsd. keep in mind the US dollar sucks right now, so importing anything is going to cost more now then it did a year ago, or a few years ago.
it's still out of my price range for the time being, but i don't know if i'd cut corners on this sort of item.

aRandy,

Sounds pretty damn good, but I would like to avoid the taxes

Which is my current and only beef with BozzPerformance (not thier fault)

What is shipping ?

Again I am in no matter which is chosen...at these price differences, my only concern is wanting to buy it outside California, or ship to you guys and you ship it to me..LOL

Thanks

BoxsterPaul.

let us know when the group buy would be happening. Can you see if they have LSD's available for the suzuki swift saloon 1.6 4wd? I would need both the front and rear.

Thanks

Gypsy

i'll ask him to find out and as for a groupbuy i'm only doing some research for the future i hope to buy an LSD next year after the summer so i'll have to wait a while

Got back an answer from him already

Quote:
If that is the AF34S, then yes, I can. They are all the same price,
front and rear are available.

Guys,

I want to be driving my little swift all next season autoxing.....as the Boxster will be under reconstruction, and taking up the garage...

So you'll have to count me out of any group buy...I guess I gotta pay the tax man....

Also for you folks across the pond, the bucks you save might be lost by buying in the US, if you wait too long, due to the USDollar dropping relative to the ROW.

FWIW
