Kento,
I have heard talks about different qualities of ceramic coating. I.E. Actual ceramic coatings, and cheaper imitations.. etc.. What grade of ceramics are you using on your products? I have my g13b turbo mani that needs some coating, and just checking out some different pricings. Thanks

dave

I use Techline coatings which is the same material the Professionals use.

Uhhh, how do you get to 700* with an electric oven (I assume a kitchen oven, not an industrial oven..)?

Ceramic Coating only requires 500* for 1 hour after pat gets to temp which is about 10-20 min depending upon material. a home oven works fine for that.

Perhaps it would be good for you to do a bit more research about different coating processes. It's seem to me that you are missing a few elements here. A quality coating require to be baked at temperatures way above 500 deg, and for 4 hrs at the least.

Jard does have a good point. IIRC, my dad and I baked the parts at 650* for an hour, then allowed the oven to ramp down over another hour-ish. However, even baking them slightly would work ok, as you can finish baking them on the car with the proper procedures.
