mike cove sent me a set of very nice custom assembled 8mm plug wires to try out. he'll probably carry these soon.

i've seen these in the red and yellow and they really are very nicely made. the individual wires are numbered and have the correct boot at the spark plug end. the other end has a straight (180*) boot. the coil wire has one 90* end and one straight end.

the length is absolutely perfect on each of the 4 wires. the 8mm shell fits snugly into the OEM wire looms.

it's hard to find a set of wires this nice anywhere. i hope that he makes them available soon.

please check my personal album pics for the pics of this wire set.

i'm in for a set as well :)
they look great, but if it's possible, i'd rather have 90degree elbows on the distributor ends just to keep it a bit neater looking. i'm guessing the difference in distributor position between the mk1 & mk2+ g10 heads is almost insignificant.

I'm just waiting fort my sample to come in, check them out, and they will be available, for 1.3/1.6 SOHC, as well as both turbo, and non turbo3's.
I should be able to do any kind of custom ends for the coil, or dist.

I can get those too, but for some reason, they're not as cheap as you'd expect.
I should have prices up in a week, or so.

7mm $37
8mm $46
9mm $50
I'm not sure why they are so expensive, but I think it has to do with the plug-ends.
Shipping is $10.

the quality is amazing, much better than anything I look at in person. I expected to get the straight ends though that go into the dist cap like I saw in a picture, but was gadly surprised to see the 90º bend on them. Each wire had which cylinder it belonged to, and the color was very vibrant. The boots stuck to the distributor cap well to seal off the plug also.

The fit into the valve cover is what I really wanted, and was surprised to see that the top part wasn't jus a cover, but a rubber boot that went inside to actually SEAL the valve cover.

thats what I wrote to Mike after I recieved the plugs. I highly recommend that any of you looking for plugs buy them from him, the quality on these surpasses the NGK wires I was looking at by FAR.

For a few reasons.
a)I've been really busy, and just haven't had time to put something together for Kris to put up for me. I could use two of me right now. :D
b) I had to get some in my own hands first before I could make them available. Since this is something I don't build myself, I needed to verify the quality first. Richard (t3rag) is my 'shipping agent' in the States, and he had a set before I did.
Casey saw my ebay auction, and got his through there.
If anybody is interested, feel free to contact me. These wires really are nice.

My supplier is no longer manufacturing 9mm wires, so the only options will now be 7mm, 8mm, and a new high heat (1200 degree) fiberglass braided set that is 10.5mm dia., and available in most of the same colours.
Pricing for them is coming.

Sure, why not?
It will just take some time.
PM me if you are interested.
you can see them on ebay right now, just don't buy them there.

Where can i find the ohms/ft? Someone asked their(9mm) resistance, but the answer was "same as 8mm", so whats the reisistance of 8mm? also at "http://www.teamswift.net/3tech/" the wires are for " 89-up 3cyl ", is there anything for sale to everyone who has a 1.3 yet?

thanks
