Well I Just finished a transaction, and I can say they are ok. My standards are kinda high(I am anal about my car,I want it PERFECT)) and I got the part back, and it was painted, which is ok,BUT I thought maybe it wouldve been sandblasted to get rid of ANY rust left.A Couple of other parts were also painted, which I didnt care for,Nothing but some scuff pads to get rid of it.Overall I'd give them a C+ for their work/Item,I shouldve been more specific about things BUT they were good. But Thats my 2 cents.

my header fit perfectly, the exhaust flange was fine and fit perfectly. Performance I'm not sure yet, but I'll update.

I've tried the Janspeed and it cracked at one of the flange welds on No4 cyl after 3 years of sprinting.
I've just fitted a suzukird header, it needed a spacer (old flange) to stop the pipe bends (slightly wrong) hitting the sump flange. Other than that the performance difference is noticable. It is smoother (seems better torque) than the Janspeed from 5000 all the way through to 8000. Once I get it on a rolling road I will know from the back to back results.

Delivery from Suzukird was good and the header looks OK in the chrome finish.

Another bit of info is the header was supplied with the Co2 pickup, i used a mitsubushi evo sump plug to blank this off (a perfect fit)

Running with twin 40's, tighe 952 cams and fast road ported head. 135bhp at the flywheel.

To buy ? or not to buy? That, it the question. This thread has sure raised some questions. I just sent SRD an email requesting some info on some parts. I am about to do some work on my swift and was going to order a fair amount of stuff from SRD but now I am uncertain whether to risk it.

I have been ripped off on ebay before and this internet thing is soooo risky.

I have to make a decision on where I am going to buy the following items, can anyone say who has the better performance part SSGTI or Suzuki Racing Development??

HI Performance Cams (Street/race)
ECU chip

Please give some sound advice.

SRD has one advantage in that theyre located in Florida, easy for me to collect from there.

allow me to point out that teamswift has no association with SRD.

mike cove, proprietor of 3 tech performance is our in house cam specialist. he's ground cams for a bunch of folks and has a consistent, proven track record of providing high quality parts to the swift community.

the chip that you're looking for can be found at OCC Racing. contact adam at bigbigbear@shaw.ca

Just got my underdrive pulley in, looks great, my seat-of-the-pants dyno registers quite an improvement.

There was a mistake made in the shipping dept., they sent out the wrong pulley but andy contacted me before the part arrived to let me know and to ask me to ship it back and they would cover the shipping charge.

This mistake only delayed my part for 2 days and the customer service I received was top notch.

I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again, and plan to do so in the near future.

Yea i got my underdrive today too. Looks good, slight, slight chip out of the pulley on the edge. Not bad but i'm kindy fussy about stupid shit like that. I think i went a month and a half with no answer to my emails(3 in total) when for watever reason i decided to buy the pulley anyways. I then received conformation notices all the time and even got to talk to a real live person. He assured me that they always anwsered promptly and that there system or something was down. But i sent three emails in a month and didn't a email back until i bought something. I even got a phone number too. Will buy from them again now that they talk to me tho. lol.

Yeah, I asked about two emails I'd sent inquiring about some other products and found out that their email system is down. He told me they switched programs for email and its not interfacing with software they already use.

It is seperate from the order system, and that they are still trying to get it fixed ASAP because that type of communication is the lifesblood of their business, which only makes sense.

Ordered a exhuast manifold gasket off them since it was considerably cheaper than buying it at autozone and the first one worked great.

They cut me a good deal on it and helped me out.

Very quick on emails another great time with them.

SuzukiRD, she gave you time. She gave you the benefit of the doubt, and you told her to basically get lost. If it takes more than a week to ship a part, that's too much. If you had her money for more than 2 months, and she got nothing but promises and flak... This post is legit, and you are obviously not capable of running a good business. This is the second complaint I've heard. First was the badly warped header flange...

Ok if thats the second complaint you've heard. I'll give you a third. I know of another member on the board that ordered a 3 cyl. racing header. Payed for it threw paypal, after 2 weeks of not recieving the item that he ordered we filled a complaint with Paypal. Suddenly they contacted us all because the money for the header was taken back out of their account because of paypal. LOL They were pissed and rude to us because we filled a complaint with Paypal. They said that they were in the middle of the racing season and were all sold out of everything and it takes time to make parts and we didn't give them enough time. The Racing season?????? He finally got the header after 3 weeks of waiting. we never posted the complaint on TS because we figured it was a one time kinda deal. Up until recently I guess they had good feedback.

O and yes I have the Emails that were sent back and forth from them and from me so yes i can prove this.

Just as an update: I did receive a check from them covering the shipping to send the wrong part back, and it was sent promptly.

I live in the UK. I have ordered plenty of parts from Suzuki RD for my race swift(including my 12.5:1 race pistons which i must say are of fantastic quality), they have pretty much offered me parts that i would not have been able to get over here.
I have had no problems with their customer service whatsoever and they have always been very helpful in answering all my hundreds of emails and questions i send them.

this morning i emailed them to see if it was to late to add some hi comp pistons to the existing order
a couple of hours later he actually foned me here in england to disscus which type of pistons would be right for me and also said that there would be no additional shipping cost, now thats customer sevice for you!
so iv got to wait a month for them to be made big deal

i have read the whole of this thred and i dont agree with alot of whats been said this is the second time i have ordered of them iv had no problems at all sure a couple of products have arrived and iv had to modify them to suit but nothing major iv been very pleased wiv all their parts

Not to be rude or anything but how can u not agree with some of the comments made in this thread. My opinion is based on the poor communication i have received with srd. By not agreeing you r saying that im lying. Correct?

no im not coz the same happend to me i reckon i sent maybe 5 asking how much a load of parts would be with the shipping to england
now i realise that my emails were a bit stupid coz it tells you on the site at the start of the checkout and i can fully understand why they didnt reply.
what did you actually ask them about the tb? if it was about shipping that may be why they didnt answer.
but you`v also gota think how many emails they recive everyday
most of them are probabaly full of crap and the rest prob has the answer on the web site if you look hard enough.
i know it would do me head right in if it was my company
but then again i would prob be out of buisness quite quickly :)

My email was discussing the exchange process on the tb. They knew very well i was pissed at there service and that they wouldnt get my money if they didnt answer my email. I didnt plan on shipping a tb out there if they wouldnt respond to a two second email.

I recently sent SRD an email asking if they had certain parts in stock. THey replied to me and said its in stock so I promptly placed the order and paid with my Credit card. I asked that they inform me when they ship but since paying for it they havent responded to my emails. I have sent maybe around 4 emails and still no response. I really need to get these parts before March 9th but theyre not telling me anything.

I ordered some stuff from them before and had no trouble though.

A little update, I got through to them on the phone and my order was shipped right away. Try calling this number:

786-264-1706

He was actually quite helpful on the phone.
