Doug is a real straight shooter.

He drove to the Southern California Coast in his Ultra Van, originally made in Hutchinson, Kansas, with his wife for the "International Ultra Van/Corvair" meet.

My wife and I drove a half day to the meet, and got our first glimpse of these Campers first hand, as well as some fixed-up corvairs.
The four of us took in a few tourist sites, and we exchanged some information about our MK1 Turbo Sprint Chevrolets. Doug also dabbles in vintage Studebakers!

He sold me some MK1 parts cheaper than I could get them anywhere else, and shipped them in fast order.
The parts arrived in excellent shape.
We would definitely do business with them again.

Thanks!

Once you get the cars dialed-in (compression, leaks, bearings, alignment, brakes) swap in new rubber and glass, you've got something which should last for years!

Did business with him again and here is the result:

The package arrived in short order.

The contents were as promised.
Doug cleaned the parts, sent them well packaged, and charged a very reasonable price.
I believe he has one of these:

which he is quietly parting out.

Purchased another 'load' of parts to bring this car back up to specs:
Image
-driver's door
-hood insulation
-complete dash
-LF fender
-shocks
-catalytic converter
-etc
Basically, filled up the back of my car with goodies and drove the 1000 miles home in two days.
He's fair with the prices, and is patient with the customers.

It was worth the drive!

I want to see pics of how your lovely wife packed that car for you at Doug's. :D

Met Doug at the last Seattle meet, he was a pleasure to talk to and all the guys that dealt with him were happy.

Sounds like you cleaned him out Phil.

Have completed a few transactions with deebee since my last posting here, and each was a pleasant experience.
Whether it is a large or a small part, Doug can usually get it, and reasonably.
He still has some bargains for sale, so you'd better go look for his threads.
His parts are becoming hard to find. If you are looking for something special, shoot him a PM and he'll put it on his 'bucket list'.

Thanks, Doug.
