Hey crew, I was just looking into buying $3k worth of parts from suzukird.netfirms.com... Can any of you advise me if this is a company worth purchasing from or will I have nothing but issues?! I tried doing a quick forum search but i didn't find anything concete.

I was wanting to purchase:
Remove Product(s) Qty. Price Per. Total

Stage III Cold Air Intake $176.37

Clutch Kit Street/Strip $319.85

Performance Thermostat $36.31

Aluminum Radiator $289.00

ECU Chip Street Strip Racer
- Car Model : MK3 92-96
$169.00

Aluminum Underdrive Single Pulley
- Engine Size : 1.3L
- Model Year : 1989 - 5/1993
- Number of Bolts : 5
$79.00

Race Performance 8.5mm Ignition Wire Set $109.00

High Performance Electric Fan $69.95

Camshafts Intake & Exhaust - Street and Strip $650.00

MSD 6A Ignition Control $184.40

Suzuki Swift GTi Stainless Steel Racing Header $269.99

Short shifter $119.00

Cat back system
- Bend Type : Press Bend
- Material : 1018 Steel
$489.00

Total: $2,960.87

Any advise if these are worth buying from this vendor or do you know of a vendor that has 1 or more of these items with better quaility??

Please note I do live in Canada and shipping is estmated at $378.00 for about 150lbs of parts.

You can do better on most of that stuff.
I'll sell you cams for half that price. Some of it you can do yourself, and some of it you can source elsewhere at far better prices.

Hey thanks for the reply :)

I'm not worried about the price of the parts so much! More if the quailty of the parts are worth buying or is this a company that I shouldn't consider buying from? I did note that a few ppl had a few issues with parts not fitting right and or extreme delays in recieving the order.
Is this a one time thing or does this happen to alot of ppl?

IMO some of their stuff is grossly overpriced. The rest is just plain overpriced. From reviews I've read here their quality, customer service, and shipping time is hit or miss. I wouldn't buy from they because of their prices but from what I've read I wouldn't buy from them anyways.

I was wanting to purchase:
Remove Product(s) Qty. Price Per. Total

Stage III Cold Air Intake $176.37

Clutch Kit Street/Strip $319.85 - find a local supplier clutches are heavy= more money shipping

Performance Thermostat $36.31- go to the nearest parts store and get one for 1/2 the price

Aluminum Radiator $289.00 - some guys run civic rads about half the price but a bit more work to put in.

ECU Chip Street Strip Racer - sandros chip, i think its under 100$
- Car Model : MK3 92-96
$169.00

Aluminum Underdrive Single Pulley
- Engine Size : 1.3L
- Model Year : 1989 - 5/1993
- Number of Bolts : 5
$79.00

Race Performance 8.5mm Ignition Wire Set $109.00

High Performance Electric Fan $69.95 the pic looks like the one i got on ebay, i got 2 for the same price

Camshafts Intake & Exhaust - Street and Strip $650.00 - suprf1y

MSD 6A Ignition Control $184.40 - should be able to get local.

Suzuki Swift GTi Stainless Steel Racing Header $269.99

Short shifter $119.00 - look into the honda ones

Cat back system - have a local shop make it for you, i wouldn't trust a full system to still be straight after being shipped. plus the weight should help with shipping costs
- Bend Type : Press Bend
- Material : 1018 Steel
$489.00

Total: $2,960.87

Any advise if these are worth buying from this vendor or do you know of a vendor that has 1 or more of these items with better quaility??

thats what i gota say, personally never dealt with then and probably never will.

Ok well I then ask you, Is there a place you would recommed the only other place I know of really is ssgti.com and they just don't seam to have much selection. Is there another place with a large selection such as suzuki racing development? Im sure i could poke around and find something on the net but i will just be back here asking if they are any good :? I'm looking at doing a stroker kit as well...

You might consided getting that Cove guy from Ontario to supply a few of those items. He tests what he sells, prices it fair, and gives honest advice weather it's what you want to hear or not!
Search for his past posts as Suprf1y, and his business as 3Tech.
The only item i'd ever consider getting Suzuki RD from your list is the Stainless header, you can do much better on the rest. I would not bother with a MSD 6 from my experience, as your unlikely to gain anything other than more complex wiring and weight. For the price of Suzuki RD cat-back, you should be able to get some handy guy in Regina to make you up a mandrel bend system that will work much better.

take the time to search on here for parts and you will be much happier and have more $$$ in your pocket.

I'll sell you a fresh GT motor with forged pistons, and new turbo for half that.

Just have a look in the manufacturers section on this forum, Hertz/bdmotorsport has quite a bit of stuff, not always the cheapest but is a good place to start and service is excellent, have bought bushes off him, if you want cams then see Mike/f1y, nuf said.

I can certainly beat many of those prices, have a look at my site www.bdmotorsports.net, I can give you a good price if you make a bulk order.
