Two thumbs up.
This may not be the best deal for people in the U.S., but the price, and delivery in Canada was great.

I was looking for KYB GR2 struts.
Local dealers were giving me retarded prices like $100-$110 each
My own suppliers couldn't do much better.
Tirerack was $125 U.S. shipping, and taxes included, for the pair, and Best price was $145 CDN including taxes and (free) shipping.
I placed the order Monday at lunch time, and got the struts Tuesday just after lunch.
After you factor in exchange rates, and credit card exchange fees (you cannot pay Tirerack with paypal, if you're outside the U.S), the price is within a few bucks.
It is run by a Hamilton, Ontario based VW specialty shop, so if there were any problems, they're at least local for me.

That is a great price for the struts, Lordco here would charge you 90+ each before tax.
they do not list the rears in the swift application, in their online catalogue.

KYB numbers from the KYB site catalogue list
232025 FLeft
232026 FRight
232027 Rear

FYI, I think the GT strut has the flex line mount in a different place.
I'll let you know the difference when i do mine.

Mike is correct about the brake hose bracket, the 2 differences that Monroe list is on the mounting bracket or on the shock tube.
Not sure what the KYB ones have but the picture on the KYB site shows the hose bracket welded to the lower mount bracket.
I wont be able to check the set in my warehouse till wednesday next week am out of town for a while.
The hose bracket can be an issue, you dont want to rip the hose on a turn.

scott,

i've used those numbers on verts, gts, g10 hatchbacks, and now lizzie's mk5. some have been lowered up to a couple of inches on cut springs, apex, and h&r sport. those struts work on all the cars with the only thing, as suprf1y said, being the placement of the tab mount for the front brake hoses. heck, until kyb started bolting the mounts on instead of welding them, the placement of the hose bracket just struck me as arbitrary. unless you have a really short set of front brake hoses, they will all thread through the mounts. the custom braided stainless brake hoses are pretty long so if you use those, they'll fit no matter where the mount is located.

the numbers you had first will get you struts that will work. be fearless. :-P

That's where it is. I was just going to use it as-is, or make an adaptor.

This is a pretty good deal on plug wires, too

Ive recently put the kybs on my car on all four corners. I paid 65 per strut. The fronts were easy to install. the rear however was a pain, so i took it in to get it done and that ran me another 100. I got the parts from a local auto parts store.
