FIX: Shifter bushing. Blueprint

If you have a sloppy 5 spd. shifter try this. I made one out of nylon on lathe. It will fit 89-94 not sure about other years. You will need 2 total.
These go in directly under shifter.

Make them up and sell them! I'd buy a set. I installed a Honda short shifter in my MK3 and it seems to be really sloppy. It shifts just fine otherwise.

if you are taking it all apart you could really just fill them with a 4$ bottle of urethane... or do what lihtan (I think?) did with his solid bushing mod

You are thinking of a different bushing.

I was thinking of a different bushing too. But you still should make them to sell. People would buy them.

Yes, you should make them. BTW it's so sad to see your cars have soo much rust back there. Should do like here and outlaw salt/deicer in the winter. Here they use a bio chem thats safe for the "Salmon". :lol:

Well Heck all i did was go to the parts store and bought a tie rod end link bushing kit from the Polyurthane perfromance shelf ($10) and cut 1 of the bushings in half with a small saw and sanded the cut sides smooth and fit perfect and fells great and also has that allsome red look...
