So we have a sidekick that belongs to my mother, a 92 4x4. One day it suddenly decided to not run any longer. A strange clicking/vibrating noise that cannot be tracked to a specific source eminates from under the dash and we cannot seem to figure out what is going on.

Anyone on here have any experiences with the Sidekick or maybe know of a Sidekick specific forum I could go to in order to maybe find answers to my questions?? Thanks!

That's because it's not a tracker!

Ok,

Baldurg and I are probably the only members here with experience on the sidekick. I'm not sure what would cause the vibrations though. was it vibrating before it dies or after during cranking? What year model do you have? some of these cars are prone to ECU faillure.

One of the only sidekick forum I know is the Pirate 4x4 forum here:

Mostly rock crawling oriented but there is good info availlable there as well.

Hey! What about me! I drive a Sidekick/Tracker... when it actually runs
In my experience, don't buy a 92 frankensteined model, with 300k on it. Wait, that doesn't pertain to this thread.
In all honesty, it sounds like the main relay/fuel injection relay/fuel pump relay. Maybe a loose wire (common?), or a bad ground (common on my 92 at least). I also have alot of problems if there is no fuse in the RWAL fuse slot.
