So my tach needle is jumping around at random times.

Everything's running good, car is near bone stock.
I'll assume the tach itself is bad and looking for a spare to swap out.

However just wondering if anyone else has or had this issue.

Interesting note, this car has gone thru 2 knock controllers/ignitors
in the last couple months, leaving it dead on the side of the
road. I recently installed a blaster coil, but have those on
several other cars with no issues.

It's probably just the tach going bad, but never seen this before,
so I thought I'd just put it out there for you guys to comment on.

Could the two issue be related?? Short or bad ground in the ignitor causes the tach flutter?
Here's a general link to ignitor issues
